Local Moving
Listed below are typical home sizes and the average amount of time to complete the move based on two men and one truck.
ˇ 1 Bedroom - 3-4 Hours
ˇ 2 Bedroom - 5-6 hours
ˇ 3 Bedroom - 6-8 Hours
ˇ 4 Bedroom - 7-9 Hours
ˇ 5 Bedroom - 10+ Hours
Office & Corporate Moving
Office moving is more detailed and is charged on an hourly rate. A firm price can be provided by having a moving consultant view your current and new office locations. The general "Rule Of Thumb" is 3 men can completely move 1 office or 1 station per hour.
Long Distance Moving
Long Distance moves are generally charged based on weight. Listed below are typical home sizes and the average weight in pounds of the content of these homes.
ˇ 1 Bedroom - 2500 - 3000 LBS.
ˇ 2 Bedroom - 4000 - 6000 LBS.
ˇ 3 Bedroom - 7000 - 9000 LBS.
ˇ 4 Bedroom - 10,000 - 12,000 LBS.
ˇ 5 Bedroom - 13,000+ LBS.
Overseas Moves
Overseas moves are priced based on the volume of the items you intend to ship. *(10 LBS = 1 Cubic ft)
ˇ 1 Bedroom - 250 - 300 Cubic Feet.
ˇ 2 Bedroom - 400 - 600 Cubic Feet.
ˇ 3 Bedroom - 700 - 900 Cubic Feet.
ˇ 4 Bedroom - 1,000 - 1,200 Cubic Feet.
ˇ 5 Bedroom - 1,300+ Cubic Feet.
Additional Items
Please advise us if you have any items oversized or extremely heavy items.
For example:
- Hot Tub,
- Pool Table,
- Tool Box Safe,
- Canoe, Kayak, Surf Board
- Plants,
- Etc.
Also, please advise us of any additional information that might assist us in providing you with a more accurate estimate.
For example:
- Elevators at origin and/or destination
- Long carry at origin and/or destination
- Contents of garage or shed
- Contents of storage locker on or off site
